"The texture and moist factor of this particular cake was off the charts. My knife literally sunk into it with each slice. The layer of indulgent frosting was not sticky, but velvety, and each chew produced a new wave of 'melting' flavor.
Because the texture itself was much fluffier than anticipated, I was happy to find I did not tempt a tummy-ache with the 1/9th wedge I had cut. This pleased me because, while I was satisfied, nothing went to waste from being 'too decadent'. The 10" cake yields 15-20 sliced, per suggestion- though as a gift, I can hardly see any recipient sharing that much!" |
